Our team has been actively supporting Valley Metro through an on-call contract, addressing critical infrastructure repairs and system improvements across the transit network. From essential rail track repairs to long-overdue lighting system replacements, we’ve applied our expertise to deliver quality solutions efficiently and effectively taking on a variety of tasks.
One of our projects involved replacing a special track component known as a frog due to a rail break at River Drive. This repair was essential to maintaining safe and reliable operations. Similarly, we completed track repairs at Mill Avenue and Dorsey Lane, where both a switch rail and a frog required replacement.
Beyond track repairs, we took on a unique project to replace the outdated and inoperable lighting system on the Tempe Town Lake Bridge. This system had been out of service for many years. Valley Metro approached us for a solution; by collaborating with a trusted local electrical contractor, we developed a cost-effective plan. After extensive planning and a long material procurement phase, we began work under the bridge in a controlled enclosure. With strategic execution and attention to detail, we have progressed ahead of schedule and are now in the commissioning and operational training phase.
Our continued partnership with Valley Metro reflects our commitment to maintaining and enhancing public transit assets.
