Our team leveraged our CM/GC experience to deliver this landmark park, a departure from our typical mass transit work. Opened in 2017, it is now enjoyed by residents and visitors in the Argay neighborhood of northeast Portland.
The new park includes a theater, a multi-age playground with synthetic turf and play surfacing, a water play sandbox, architectural seat walls, a fog garden water feature, a dog park, a soccer field, basketball courts, a skatepark, a rock climbing structure, a large play field surrounded by picnic areas, and a large community garden. Rock and concrete pathways meander through the park, with natural planting areas connecting the various features.
