Stacy Witbeck constructed nearly five miles of track in a 29-acre yard on this design-build project for Sound Transit’s newest light rail operations and maintenance facility. The yard is designed to store an expanded fleet of light rail vehicles arriving in the fall of 2020 to support the 14-mile East Link extension.
The yard is accessed by a spur from an adjacent Stacy Witbeck project - the Downtown Bellevue to Spring District segment of the East Link Extension. It will also support the vehicles serving our newest design-build project - the Downtown Redmond Link Extension.
