Capitol Light Rail Extension (CapEx)

The Capitol Extension (CAPEX) is a CMAR project that will provide connections between the downtown Phoenix and the Arizona State Capitol area. This new light rail system will be integrated with the existing Valley Metro rail system. This is a 0.8-mile extension with two stations that will connect state, regional, and local agencies as well as community partners. The project aims to and energize the downtown and State Capitol areas.
