Stacy Witbeck Returns to Dallas for DART Maintenance Contract

The Dallas Fort Worth area is on the rise, and Stacy Witbeck is proud to have the opportunity to grow alongside it by returning operations to the area. Previously, we have partnered with Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) on the successful Dallas Streetcar and Orange Line Light Rail Expansion projects.

Now, we’re beginning operations on a new task-order based scope. This will help boster infrastructure maintenance and implement comprehensive system-wide improvements across DART's transportation network.

Following productive discussions between DART and Utah Transit Authority (UTA), where UTA's successful On-Call maintenance contract served as a blueprint, DART adopted a similar framework tailored to meet local requirements. This approach, recognized for its effectiveness in Utah, sets a new standard in the industry.

The project encompasses three critical areas: Civil, Systems, and Facilities. Stacy Witbeck will oversee all three pillars in collaboration with MRS handling the systems scopes.

This partnership is significant for DART as it ensures the resilience and efficiency of its transit infrastructure. Stacy Witbeck and MRS’ combined expertise and dedication promises substantial enhancements that will benefit both commuters and stakeholders.

Crews have begun working with city traffic engineers, the historic preservation team, and DART MOW to begin repairs throughout the Dallas downtown area.
